Ingredients

  • 1/3 cup honey
  • 2 tablespoons low-sodium soy sauce
  • 1 teaspoon cornstarch
  • 1 teaspoon sesame oil
  • 1/2 teaspoon ground ginger
  • 1/2 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 8 chicken drumsticks (about 2 lbs)
  • 1/2 teaspoon toasted sesame seeds

Directions

  1. Heat oven to 400 degrees . In a small pot, whisk first 6 ingredients. Bring to a simmer; cook 3 minutes. Place drumsticks on a nonstick-foil-lined baking sheet and bake 20 minutes.
  2. Brush with 3 tbsp honey mixture, cover with foil and bake 20 minutes more. Drizzle with remaining honey mixture and sprinkle with sesame seeds.
